adding hot spare.
Previously, a hot spare disk was rmoved and we deleted the LUN so that we can change the 2 faulty disks in the LUN with Raid 5. So after the replacement of 2 disks, I wanted to add the hot spare back, do I need to change any configuration??

Re: adding hot spare.
What type of storage array and what version of firmware? In some types of arrays volumes are laid out on the physical spindles in a certain way to optimize performance so if you have one of those you MAY want to return things to the original configuration. This is not required by any means, but if you're careful you should be able to do it with zero downtime.
