autoraid 12H issue
Replaced a 9 gig drive with a 36 gig drive in an autoraid 12H. When I pulled the drive out it did a rebuild which was correct. After the rebuild finished I put in the 36gb drive and the autoraid started balancing the arrray.
Now the new 36gb drive is coming up bad and when running arraydsp -a, the disk does not appear in the output. Will I need to include the disk from the front panel and if so how.

Do consider the possibility that the drive is not seated right or was just plain bad from the factory.
Run cstm or mstm or xstm and test it, make sure its bad. If so, get another one and start over.
Yes, it could be array 12H type issues, but that is not the only possibility.

I rather think that you have a failed disk because it really should display "NOT INCLUDED".
The Include Disk front panel procedure is:
1) Select Disk Changes from the Main Menu.
2) Select Include Disk
3) Select the Disk Number A1-B6
4) Select Confirm
By the way, a single 36GB drive will result in no extra space because the array must reserve enough space to cover the failure of the largest single disk.
