charging MA8000 ECB's ?

would anybody know if its "ok" to install a second pair of ECB battery options in a MA8000 ( M2200 ) shelf that is running to just charge the ECB's ( will this even work ? ) I know the second pair of M2200 battery positions are used for doing a live replacement using FRUTIL.. I just want to charge these 2 extra ECB options...

George,

if you put a replacement ECB into the M2200, then you are supposed to wait until the 'charged LED' (the left one) turns on. So, it is OK to use an array to just charge the ECB and then remove it.
