Re: command view uninstall
I would have thought you would just install the new version over the old. Why do you say you have to remove first?

Re: command view uninstall
Depending on what version is installed, you'll need to swremove some packages:
CMDVIEWSDM
HPOVLIC
HPOVSAMDA
HPOVSAMHA
HPOVSAMHB
HPOVSAMJR
HPOVSAMSG
SMI_S_VA
SSLIC
If you select only CMDVIEWSDM, the util will tell you what other software need to be removed too.
It will likely help to safe some information first:
/opt/sanmgr/commandview/server/config/PanConfigParams.txt
/opt/sanmgr/commandview/server/config/ContactInfo.txt
/opt/sanmgr/hostagent/config/access.dat
/opt/sanmgr/hostagent/config/commIpAddr.txt
After swremove, you can delete some directories, if they are no longer in use:
/opt/sanmgr
/etc/opt/sanmgr
/var/opt/sanmgr
Finally, find and install a current version:
1.09.02 for all hp-ux up to 11.23
1.09.03 for 11.31
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
