create host command view EVA fails 6.0.2
To anyone who can be of assistance.
I have a need to create a host, but for some strange reason it says it alreade exists.
I have one under the following structure:
Hosts
---> Exchange
----------------> irvmail101 (this one exists)
Im trying to create irvmail1 and it fails.
Under "Virtual Disks"
I have the following structure:
-----> irvmail101 (exists)
-----> irvmail1 (no problem creating).
Any ideas?

Re: create host command view EVA fails 6.0.2
I have run into this in the past. Command View doesn't like two entities named the same thing even though they are in different places in the folder tree. I believe it's a "feature."

Re: create host command view EVA fails 6.0.2
Looks like I found a work around.
I created the host under just the Hosts folder, that worked. I then moved it to the folder I wanted and it worked. I deleted again and tried to re-add it back in and it still fails.
I have a case open with HP to look into this. Right now it has been escalated to second level.
