drive Expansion
I'm trying to expand a volume. Originally the volume was basic, we removed all data, reformatted the volume and made it dynamic. Added 2 drives to the array, expanded the array then extended the drive. In the array config software the drive is expanded, shows all available space. When I attmept to expand the drive in Win 2k I get a message telling me the volume was originally created on a basic disk and cannot be expanded. Is drive expansion on Win2k supported? Should I have completely blown away the array and recreated it? One more-- If I have a volume that was originally dynamic with live data on it cna it be safely expanded? IE: the warning messages that come up in the array config -- I was to they could
