ds2300 connecting to 4si in a rp5450, system crashes!

ds2300 with 1 BCC connected to channel A on a 4Si card installed in a rp5450. When I turn the system on and stop to search for bootable devices the system hangs. I did get the system to boot completely once, about 2 minutes after I logged in the system crashed with a processor general error! When I unplug the scsi connection between the rp5450 and ds2300 the rp5450 comes up fine. Is there any software or firmware I might need for the 4Si, ds2300, or rp5450?

for some reason the system decided that it wanted to work this morning! We've been up for 2 hours now with no problems!
