extend array issue
Hi,
We got a proliant DL380 server running win2k server. Raid5 with 4x146.G disks. When we extend array with another 146G disk. It takes 80 houes but only finish 13%.
Is it normal?
Please advise!

It's hard to say - it could be normal, could be problem. It's depend of chosen rebuild/expansion priority and usage of disks. HP in ACU user guide wrote:
"An array expansion, logical drive extension, or logical drive migration takes about 15 minutes per gigabyte, or considerably longer if the controller does not have a battery-backed cache."
15min x 5 x 146GB = :((
