good way for create a new lun on VA7100

Hello
I have 2 cluster NT4 Sp6a attached to a VA7100
I try to create a new lun for one cluster.
I use commandeview to create the new lun and copy permission from the old lun to the new.
the old and the new lun is attached on the same cluster.
i display the table of security with armsecure and is ok
i use autopath to update on each node the parameters for the new lun (no balancing and prefered path)
i reboot each node but is not ok
i see on control panel, scsi card, miop the new disk (lun) with the good lun number
i see on disk admnistrator the new disk but is not on line
have you an idea ?
my conf is
2 cluter NT4 sp6a with for each node 2 fiber channel card and autopath
the va7100 as FW : HP11 and SW : 01.01.0011

Re: good way for create a new lun on VA7100

It seems that you have correctly created new lun and assigned permissions but your procedure for assigning newly created lun to cluster is not OK. You may check this for correct procedure:
http://support.microsoft.com/directory/article.asp?ID=KB;EN-US;Q175278
This is a MS Knowledge Base Articel which explains how to add new SCSI disk to cluster shared bus. You can ignore first part which explains how to install new disk and start with the part which explains how to use new disk in cluster.
