how can I re-enable my logical drive on smart 2dh controller
I have a Proliant ML370 with a 2DH controller. a 6 drive array internal which works fine, and a 5 drive array in an enclosure (it is a 7 drive enclosure, but I only have 5 drives in it).
All was working fine, when two days ago I accidentally disconnected the scsi connector cable to the enclosure, and reconnected it immediately after upon realizing this.
Upon cold reboot, the controller sees the first array but not the external one. When I use Compaq ACU it tells me that I have 5 drives that are unassigned.
I researched and notice that the HPACUCLI might allow me to re-enable this array, but I am using W2k (sp4) and I cannot seem to be able to install this utility. I initially set this server up with Smart Start 5.10 and I tried to install HPACUCLI from a Smart Start 7.1 but to no avail.
Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated! Thank You Michael
