here i have one RX2620 server which is attached with MSA30. it is configured as raid5 with hot spare previously. now the raid5 is crashed and i have to reconfigure it again.
please reply me as early as possible....

# ioscan -fn
and look for a /dev/ciss_ device.
The use
# saconfig /dev/ciss_
# sautil /dev/ciss_
and post the results to give us more details.

This bad disk probably block the entire bus.
A single failed disk should never turn a RAID 5 into failed.
Does anything change?
Does the spare kick in?
Please come back once the disk is replaced and the RAID is still failed.

i have one rx2620 server which is connected to MSA30.
my filesystem is in external scsi in MSA30.
even i have a hotspare for this.
but now two scsi is failed. and my raid5 is crashed.
now i have to rebuit raid5 in external scsi in MSA30 through rx2620 server.
so please suggest me what to do???
