Re: how to use a va7400 in a Linux enviroment?
Hello Stephen,
be aware of multipathing. Depending on you used linux distribution you can use Qlogic Multipathing HBA driver, Autopath for Linux or DM-Devicemapper to wipe out multiple paths.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Patrick

Solution
Hello,
yes, I think that's all. :)
- Connect the server to the fabric
- modify zoning, so that VA and server can communicate
- Create a LUN
- Set host port behaviour to "linux"
- Present the LUN
- Do a rescan under Linux
- Configure multipathing if you need.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Patrick
