initial configuration

I recently purchased a used compaq 1850R with a 3200 smart array controller and the person I bought it from didn't supply any disks. I'm more of a Dell person and I thought compaq would have configuration utilities built in the controller like Dell but I found out differently. Now I'm stuck and I can't configure the controller. Does anyone know what I need to download so that I can boot to a configuration utility and get the drive array configured so I can install Win2k? Any help at all would be great. Thanks!

Re: initial configuration

You'd be set if you could get your hands on a SmartStart CD. If not, you'll need to download the System Configuration Utility and Array Configuration Utility from http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1115.html, generate the boot diskettes and then use the SCU to identify the 3200 as the boot controller and then follow with the ACU to generate your RAID volume. Good luck.
