what is the maximum i/o i can get ftom RAID controller 5300/6400 with raid 5?

That depends on a number of factors like:
- how many disks
- random or sequential I/O
- I/O sizes
- read/write ratio

Honestly, what would you do with a number of I/Os satisfied from read cache, for example?

what is the maximum i can get?
i use sql server, so i use random access.
i have 10% write, 90% read. as far as i understand i can use maximum of 28 disk 15K for one aray.
on this situation what the I/O i can expect on raid5?
