measuring disks performance

Can anyone reccomend a tool or a link to detailed information that just displays disk performance for physical drives.

I just want to accruately measure performance per physical disks.

Are they in an array or in a server?
A controller with direct access to the disks or via for example a smart array card?

Windows 2003 Server with

1 @ P400 raid controller attached are 2 disk arrays. 1@ 36GB 1@ 1TB

1@ msa2324fc attached. 1 @ 1TB

The windows server shares out all those arrays via smb. 3 disks Drive D: E: and P:
