mpio issued in server 2003 R2 X64
Hello everybody,
I have an EVA connected to several servers,
couple of days ago I've got a lot of problems in my event log:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Event Type: Error
Event Source: hpeaadsm
Event Category: None
Event ID: 304
Date: 06/05/2012
Time: 15:28:50
User: N/A
Description:
An unrecoverable path failure occurred on SCSI address (3.0.7.5). Disk 600508B4000698C30000A00028880000 is still accessible over redundant path(s).

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: mpio
Event Category: None
Event ID: 17
Date: 06/05/2012
Time: 15:28:51
User: N/A
Description:
\Device\MPIODisk9 is currently in a degraded state. One or more paths have failed, though the process is now complete.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
and than the server just crashed.
I can't understand why....If one of my disks suddenly crashes the MPIO need to give my server an alternate path!
So why is the server is crashing? I saw suggestions about MPIO drivers or non compatible firmware of my Qlogic fiber cards but everything seems up do date?
Can anyone please help me....

Re: mpio issued in server 2003 R2 X64
What was the health of EVA at that point? This may be result of some issue related to EVA (eg. controller issues, multiple disks having problem within eva etc.)
