SolutionMSA1000 supports
- HPUX11i
- rx server
- Serviceguard
But MSA1000 is only supported in a single controller, with a dedicated HPUX firmware.
So you have a single point of failure with one controller.
The best solution is to install two MSA1000 and keep the data synchronised with Mirror/UX

Re: msa1000 hp-ux 11i and serviceguard
Don't know if RAID controllers are supported in MC/SG.
I have more then one customer who runs MSA30 DB (Double bus) in an MC/ServiceGuard environment.
The disks are synchronised with Mirror/UX

Re: msa1000 hp-ux 11i and serviceguard
For using with service guard,no need to have a RAID in disk arrays.Thing is that the disks should be accesible from all the nodes of the cluster.Whether with RAID or without RAID.
You may need to have multiple controllers in some disk arrays for connecting more hosts.
