msa1000 not seeing new disks
WE have an MSA1000 connected to two sanbays through FC. one of our drives failed before we could create a unit. WE replaced the drive but on CLI it wont show the new drive.
i cant find a command to rescan disks to find the new one. how can i make the controller find the new disk?

Re: msa1000 not seeing new disks
AFAIK the MSA should see the disk as soon as it is inserted.
Do you see any messages in the OCP after putting it in/taking it back out?
Have you tried to reseat the disk again? Maybe it's not completely in?
Do you have any free bays? Does it work there?
But yes, if you have not created any units (what do you mean with units?) maybe you can power cycle the MSA?
