Hi a customer have a msa1500 running linux.
He is planning add a second controller and SAN a second SAN switch , also two HBA one per each system.
My question is :
Is necessary install secure path software for the each system_

Hi William
Yes ofcourse Secure path is requiered if you are planning to do the Fail over connectivity.You talk to Hp regarding the version of Secure path required for your system.Since it depends on the linux OS version what you have.

If they were running a san with active active controllers probably not, if you had a utility like qlogic has to take care of it. But in this case it would be a good idea for this model.
