old Netserver LH

model lh (5/100)
64mb ecc ram
2x 2940's
2x 1Gb drives
hpda (mylex?) array controller
6x hot-swap drive cage
all cables

I would like to get this old system going (for training/testing), but has no CDrom. Looks like everything is intact and connected properly, but diskette in pouch will not boot ("insert CD and F1 to continue").

Do I need to get a scsi cdrom drive?
Any alternative?

hi

yes u require a scsi or IDE cd drive.u have o boot thro' a "Navigator CD" which comes along the server
