physicaldrive reported twice
Hi all,
I have two HP DL360G5 both with E200i array controllers and two 36GB SAS drives each. My intention is to have the two drives mirrored (raid 1). What confuses me is that on one of the machines the first drive is reported twice and the second drive is not reported at all. (booth drives reported has the same serial number and position). On the other machine everything seems to be normal. (Booth drives has individual serial numbers and positions.)
Here follows some cut 'n paste:
# hpacucli controller all show config
Smart Array E200i in Slot 0 (sn: PR6CMU7532 )
array A (SAS, Unused Space: 0 MB)
logicaldrive 1 (33.9 GB, RAID 1+0, OK)
physicaldrive 0:0 (box 0:bay 0, SAS, 36 GB, OK)

Re: physicaldrive reported twice
Hi all,
This was resolved by HP by replacing the E200i raid controller.
