post error: 1784-Drive array drive failure
Hello
We have a Proliant DL380 G3 server reporting a post error: 1784-Drive array drive failure in the IML. OS is W2K SP4. There are 2 controllers - one internal and one with a SCSI connection to an external storage array.
There are also various "\device\harddisk3\dr3 has a bad block" errors within the eventlog. The harddisk and drive numbers vary so it seems like it's not one disk.
There are no amber LEDs on any of the drives. The HP online diagnostic status is green and functioning for all disks yet the status on the insight management agent reports both controllers as critical.
These errors seemed to have started after we had some problems with Veritas Volume Manager software and we had to disable the replication links to be able to see the E:\partition again.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks

Re: post error: 1784-Drive array drive failure
This requires a firmware upgrade
