problem with disk array

We are facing a problem.We have a disk array and one of the hardrives was not working.So we exchanged two harddrives in the bays.But, now its giving some alert message.

Can exchanging hardrives give problems??

Hi Deepak,
Bye the you should have replaced the faulty hard drive with another one instead of exchanging it.
Can you please tell about RAID level you are using and what alert message you are getting?
