rebuild mirror Array on 431 fails

I have W2k SBS server with an Array 431 installed with RAID 1 and two 36Gb drives. My problem is that my drive 0 appears to be corrupted. I can use a boot disk and boot from drive 1 without problem. I removed drive 0 and then selected the fail option from the Array utility. I then put it back in and let it rebuild. This then removed some of the good files of drive 1.

How do I get the drive 0 to rebuild as a copy of drive 1 ?
