sc-10 config under A5158A and fc-60

I'm having a problem with systems not reporting disks under fiber channel adaptors. Ex... I have an N-Class with a A5158A attached to an fc-60, under which I have an sc-10. I need to be able to view the sc-10 configuration. It's not showing up under stm info or ioscan. I've attached the ioscan from the machine - the A5158A initially shows up at 0/8/0/0. Is there some reason I can't view the sc-10 config?

Host sees controller only, no LUNs (/dev/rscsi/c4t5d0). Host identified FC60 incorrectly and uses driver fcpdev instead of fcparray.
Where this FC60 was previously connected? To NT or w2k system? Which firmware does it have? Which product number? Is it indicating any faults if looking to the front leds of each controller?

I remember an initialization issue with SC-10, fc-60 and N Class server. If that's the case, what you have to do is to start the disk arrays (fc-60 and sc-10) well before you start the N class server. If you read the manual came along with the FC60, this message is noted on the front pages.



Once the initialization is okay, you will be able to see the disks through SAM and you can configure it.

this issue you're talking about... I guess this happens because on bootup, when AM60Srvr does not detect FC60, it simply does not start and that's why SAM does not work correctly with FC60 in this case.
Anyway, it does not matter which sequence is used, LUNs of FC60 should appear in the ioscan output
