seeking for appropriate steps to decommission XP 1024

There are a number of HPUX and Window 2003 connecting to it via SAN. We dont need data any more. What are approate way to decommission the entire XP disk array?

Thank you for your inputs!

You could pay HP to do that service for you.

Hanry,

Have to wipe off the whole XP configuration manually.

- Unpresent all the Volumes

- Delete all teh LUNs

- Delete all the hostgroup entries

- Delete the diskgroups

- Delete port configuration

The above steps can be replaced if HP (only HP) reinitialize the XP to factory default configuration.

If needed XP has disk scrubbing (licensed feature) that will safely erase the disk contentes with industry standard algorythm.

Finaly clean up the SAN zoning and Aliases on FC-SAN switches.
