Is it possible to use a smart array controller 431 in a windows 2003 x64 environment on a proliant dl380g5?
The controller shows at start up, but I cannot find any x64 drivers.
Is there some sort of generic driver? I use the controller to access msa30.

Solution
Hi,
I don't believe there are any x64 drivers for the SmartArray 431.
Indeed, looking at the release notes for the latest 32 bit drivers shows this "fix" in 2003.
"Modified the installer to disallow 32-bit drivers/applications from installing on 64-bit operating systems."
There is some mention of an Itanium version, but no x64.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
