smart array controller emergency replacement (planing)

Hi,

we are planing a setup with D2700 with P421 controller

we also have a few P800 and P212

if the P421 died, wuld pluging in the P212 or the P800 work?

The quickspecs show it's compatible with the P212, the P800 isn't listed

The D2000 enclosures support direct attach storage to ProLiant Servers with the HP Smart Array P411, P212, P812, P222, P421, P431, P441, P822 or the P841 Controllers.

And just to confirm: If you plug in a supported controller - it will get the RAID configuration from the disks - you might have to press Accept(F2 or such) after powering on the server (and install ADG/RAID6 license if this is used).
