start up the autoraid and N Class server

Hi all,

we shutdown our array and N class server host last weekend due to power off.

What is the order to start up everything again?

power up host, then using arraymgr -s start to bring array up, then mount the file system?

or

power up array from front panel, then power up host?

Thanks for the confirmation.

Power up the array first and then power up the HP-UX machine.

In order for the server to see the array, confirm that all LUNs are present, activate the VG and mount the file systems the array MUST be on.

hi Jane,

As patrick rightly said, power up the array from the front panel and then power up the host.

with best wishes
