Re: stm

hi,

check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for EMS messages,

grep EMS /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

if you find an entry. and them execute the command from resmon

Re: stm

IIRC you can select the disk controller and run a certain tool from STM.

But better to use "amdsp" to get the status.

Hope this helps!

Re: stm

Hi Torsten

Thanks for that.I am just curious to know why the disks are not getting displayed in stm in this particular, since I am able to see them in other server with the same STM version.

Re: stm

Really?

I would assume the disks of an array are invisible to the OS (e.g. ioscan, stm, etc.), because they are "hidden" by the array controller. At least this is true for all arrays I know.

For exactly this reason there are special tools for all kind of arrays.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
