unmaping on-line an XP512 LUN attached to a Solaris System using VxVM
Hi guys.
( I know this issue is out of place, but I posted here because Sun support didn't help me and nobody help me in new groups )
I'm trying to unmaping a LUN from remote console of an XP512 on-line. But it fails because 'there is activity on that LUN', i.e., operating system is accessing LUN.
That LUN was under control of VxVM... then I removed any VxVM Disk group on it and removed from VxVM control:
vxdisk rm xxxx
But XP512 still reports there is activity... I need to unmap without rebooting the system.
The problem doesn't exist if the LUN is not added to VxVM control, i.e, when I map a LUN online (format command shows it) and I unmap it later without have been used 'vxdiskadm' on it, the unmaping works fine.
Thanx in advance
