updating d2700
im trying to install firmware version 150 on a d2700 and potentally 4 d2600 shelfs aswell using p222 controller
ive tryed what was on the controller firmware 3.54 and updated 4.68 and curently 8.32 but no luck
if any knows because ive wasted heaps of time trying to figure it out
much thanks in advance

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your query.
You cannot update the latest firmware If the server or storage is running a very old firmware version.
You can skip only two versions. Please follow the below firmware sequence.
SA P222
3.54--->5.22--->6.34---->7.02--->8.32
I would suggest you update SA P222 controller firmware first before the D2700 firmware updates.

spent the day updating as descibed and i tried the to do the enclosure again from 148 to 150 and no luck

As per shared snapshot and information, last time I have shared SA P222 controller firmware not D2700.
Follow the below firmware link to update D2700.
* RECOMMENDED * HP D2600/D2700 6Gb SAS Disk Enclosure ROM Flash Component for Windows (x86)

NOTE: Make sure SA P222 controller firmware should be updated with the latest.

i know i just letting you know my progress i had updated the p222 as to you guide wich did work and is running 8.22 but when i run the d2700 firmware 150 i get that message that i sceenshot before of hardware incompadable ive tryed to eliminate hardware conflicts and are runing this on hp g6 server that im borrowing.
i did run the 150 update on a d2600 and it did work.could my d2700 not be detected properly?
