va7100 performance setup and checking

We have a couple of N-classes, connected via fiber to 3 va7100 disk arrays. We are running 1 production oracle database (heavily used) and some other smaller oracle databases. Any recommendations on how to set up the luns on these arrays for optimal performance?

Also, any easy way to check the actual bytes per second performance on these LUNs after creation?

I've looked briefly at armperf and viewed the throughput per second, but I'm not sure if that's in bytes or what?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Also, anybody know about any documentation on these arrays regarding LUN configuration?
