vgcreate Clariion CX 500 array. Do I need 4 physical volumes -PVs

Hi Forumers,
I am about to attach a Clariion CX500 to our RP4440. I know that for the va7400 array HP recommended creating 4 LUNs per VG. Reason : something to do with having multiple scsii queues I think.
Should I also do this with the RP4440 and Clariion combination ?
