what is a parity group in relation to ACP?

Say you have two ACPS, are parity groups the array groups in the ACPs?

Parity groups are sometimes also called as raid groups. This is set of Hard disks formatted and LDEVs are created on this. You have ACP pair connected to four canisters in XP Arrays. Then the group of disks from all these canisters (located at same slot number) will form one marketing array. According to type of raid format you have chosen your parity array will be of one marketing group or two. for example disks located at slot 0 of HDU forming B4 unit 1 will form one marketing array. If you choose 2D+2P raid config. it will require one marketing array and hence your this marketing array will become the parity array.

So if you have have two DKU(disk canisters) on a XP512 then you have two ACP for this example configuration since the ACP connect the controller to the DKU individually so depending on how you setup the RAID level on the array group (four disks per slot) that will determine how many ldevs you can create from that array group? So an array group can also be called a parity group? I'm confused with the term marketing array and marketing group...
