I need to replace an HBA which connect a rp7420 to the SAN which eva4000 is in. I want to know how to update the host's WWN information in CommandView EVA so that host could access the eva4000 with new HBA.
regards
Stephen

SolutionThen go to command view and adjust the host section.
Find the old HBA WWN and replace it by the new WWN.
If you doing WWN based zoning on the switch, you need to adjust there too.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: what need to be modified in CommandView EVA when replacing HBA?
But in fact this is not this hard.
In CV hosts section just delete the old port (old HBA) and add the new.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
