Receiving error message above at start up on my Compaq Evo N600c. Need advice on how to fix... Not very tech savvy. The only option at start up is to ignore - have been doing this for about two weeks. Seem to be no problems after ignoring.

Solution
SMART routine are some kind of supervision task build in the controller.
This task make several tests, for example the time the disk spend to answer a data request, or the time to spin-up, all these data if they are out of the normal value, may generate a error message alerting you that your disk is not optimal, and you can face with imminent error.
THe suggestion is to open a call in HP and see with the support if they can exchange the disk proactively.
A good backup is suggested
