One part number, but different disks' model.

Hello.  Recently we've got 12 HP 300G SAS 15k disks with pn - 652611-B21.  9 of them are EH0300FCBVC, but 3 are EH0300FBQDD. Is this situation OK? And now bothering about compatibility between this disks in one raid array. Should I re-build arrays until it was too late?

Yes, it is competely normal.

Difference between EH0300FBQDD and EH0300FCBVC would be different manufacturer or the release.

However, the drive specs are the same: 300GB hot-plug dual-port SAS hard disk drive - 15,000 RPM, 6Gb/sec transfer rate, 2.5-inch small form factor (SFF), Enterprise, SmartDrive Carrier (SC) which is more important.

Ok, but how about different firmware version? I've heard that drives in RAID should be identical, and different FW versions on drives makes me frustrating.
