CDROM not working in ESX 3.5 207095

i have 7 ESX 3.5 (pre-version 207095) that work perfectly. I've recently installed two DL385 G6 with vmware ESX 3.5 207095. On both of them I am not able to access the cdrom from any of the vm's. It is set as connnected.
I'm also not able to access from the console either. If i try to mount it, i get an error message of: mount -t iso9660 /dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom
mount: block device /dev/scd0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/scd0,
or too many mounted file systems

any ideas?

hello,
I noticed similar issues caused by optical drive firmware. Check firmware level. Contact Vmware support, your servers are fully supported and certified...
