Brocade Switch 2400 Fabric login
We have brocade switch 2400 fibre channel switch ,now we have to configure this switch for fabric login so what is the procedure for it as it is not allowing to configure in fabric login.the configuration is 2x N class with A5158A fibre channel cards and storage array.

Just disable quick loop in these ports.

but how to disbale quickloop on ports as i dont have option of qldisable command in admin menu of switch,or i have to buy a optional product for qloop commands as some of the documents of brocade describes about it.

from telnet session, "qlDisable" for disable quickloop in all switch. And "qlPortDisable 1" for disable quickloop only in port 1.

if your switch complains about "no quickloop license installed" when issuing the above commands from David, then you can lean back: your switch is already configured for fabric.
you can verify it from your host this way:
/opt/fcms/bin/fcmsutil /dev/td0 (or td1, whatever)
in the field topology it should show PTTOPT_FABRIC (=Point to Point fabric)
