Brocade switch monitoring
Brocade switch monitoring
I am having an issue with my backups and I want to monitor a couple of switch ports. How can I monitor the ports for 12 hours? What type of output would I get? The switch is the 8/24 running 7.0x firmware.
Thanks,
Gene

Re: Brocade switch monitoring
Yeah, easiest is probably to compare output from porterrshow.
snmp or BNA could be used too.
Backup errors can also be because something that isn't using the tape drive is zoned with it.

Re: Brocade switch monitoring
do statsclear and then look at the counters after the backup and see the difference.
