Can't release path on XP12000

I have an XP12000 and I am trying to release a path from a windows 2003 host that has been removed from out enviroment. I am getting the following message: "Processing is disabled because the host is mounted or the device is reserved. (1005 2082)
Is there anyway for me to release the ldev?

Thanks

You will need to clear the Persistent Reservation, I think the last shutdown of the server was not a controlled one,

Can this LDEV be configured as Command Device or a member of a Busines Copy pair?

You can try to delete the Host Group Definition for that host first.

If the LUN is replicated make sure you delete the replication then try to release the LUN path
