The ExDS is an extremely scalable, affordable, and simple to use Storage System.
I would suggest you contact your HP Storage Rep, HP Partner organization you buy from, or HP Direct to get someone to give you the specifics if you are looking to buy... but if you just want information, here is probably the best place to start.
The minimum configuration is 246 Terabytes.
Maximum is 820 TB (at the moment).
The system is made up of Storage Blocks and Blade Servers. A Storage block looks to be just a contained enclosure for a controller, the storage and the technology to access that storage. Blade servers are.. well... standard c-Class Blades.
