How to recover command view EVA Password recover which have i forgotten.

Hi Mohit,

The default password of HP is "hpinvent".

Hi Mohit,

At least our default was hpinvent as stated above. But, I think, if you have the administrator access to the EVA server, most probably you can change it from the Systems Management tool.

If you have the administrator account on the EVA windows server, it is the same and you could change it. It is mapping the normal user permissions on windows with Storage Server Management.

HP Storage Server Management/Local Users and Groups/Users

Either it should be Admin or the user should be the member of HP Storage Admins/Users

or
Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Local Users and Groups

Mohit,

After installing commandView EVA, a windows user with administrator priviledge must create accounts for other windows users and assign them to one of the following :-

1) HP Storage Admin - For users that have view and manage capabilities

2) HP Storage Users - For users that have view capabilities

So these 2 user group are created when you installed commandview EVA.
