Command View EVA 10.0 / Localized Win Server2008R2
Hi,
Following the post
http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Storage-Area-Networks-SAN/Command-View-EVA-v9-4-always-fails-to-install-no-admin-rights/td-p/4806859
Does latest version CV 10.0 is compatible with non-english localized Widows Server ?
BR,
Oleg.

Don't think so. Only language you can select during install is English. It even doesn't want to install on an English Server OS with regional settings not set to English.

Re: Command View EVA 10.0 / Localized Win Server2008R2
I tried to install 10.0 on a english Windows Server 2008 R2, but with location, keyboard etc. set to german. CV 10.0 wouldn't install, telling me that I have to use an english version of Windows. Interestingly, in the log the install creates this shows up:
Custom Action: CompareLocale Status: SUCCESSFUL
Anyways, to actually get it to install I had to change the date/time/number format to "English (United States)". The installer checking those formats? Seriously? After 9.4 explicitly requiring a user group named "Administrators" and now this I wonder what surprises we can expect for the next version installer :)
