EVA 3000 upgrade from 2C4D to 2C5D
Hi,
I have installed a EVA3K 2C4D and I want to add another enclosure in configuration. This means that I have to upgrade from EVA3k to EVA5k. Is this upgrade possible only by a firmware update and adding loop switches ?
I know that EVA3k has HSV100 and EVA5k HSV110 and I also know that there is no hardware difference between them.
Please advice how to resolve this issue.
Kindest regards,
Cristinel

Re: EVA 3000 upgrade from 2C4D to 2C5D
The HSV100 and HSV110 controllers _ARE_ different.
The HSV100 has two back-end loops - the HSV110 has four back-end loops.
You DO have to get the controllers swapped and a license upgrade is required, too.
