Hello,
maybe someone can help.
We have an EVA 4400 with CommandView 9.4 server based. We try to change to array based management.
The managemant module ist online with default settings, but firmware is 0001.0000 - very old. The tech guys who did the updates of Command View long time ago did not update the firmware of the mm ...
The old firmware cannot connect to the controllers. Firmware update to supported version 0001.4300 fails with 500 - internal server error. Same problem occurs trying upgrade to a old 0001.0020 version.
Any idea to get the upgrade working?
Thank you very much

Re: EVA 4400 management module firmware update
Here is the download:
https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=P6000_CV10.3
ABM.pkg inside is the firmware file for the MM.
Another link:
https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=CVEVRestore
patched version 10.3.7: (best choice)
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=co_153413_1&swEnvOid=1005#tab-history
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EVA 4400 management module firmware update
CV 10.3 (MM version 0002.3000) can manage XCS
10001000
11001100
11200000
11300000
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EVA 4400 management module firmware update
>> to 0001.4300
but this something old, not exactly sure, but it must be pre CV 10.x, most likely version 9.4.x.
MM version 0002.3000 would be better.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Works now as expected.
