EVA P6500 An invalid disk drive has been inserted, please replace with an EVA disk drive

Tried replacing faulty Disk, initially is Green LED, when trying to Group gives below error and marks faulty.

HPE sent us 2 Disks same issue in the same slot.

067d402d; An invalid disk drive has been inserted, please replace with an EVA disk drive.

Please advise

Hi

It seems that you got the wrong disk drives do the spare part numbers match

does the drive you revieved apear in the list of EVA drives.

Have you tried another slot?

if you recieveed the drives from HPE talk to support.

There is no available slot to try as all Disk enclosures full, also verified appears under EVA Drives.

The unit is not under warranty buy from 3rd party supplier, suspecting the Drive is not EVA programmed as the bit needs to be set for EVA Drives.
