Hello,
I have a question concerning the replacement of a controller on a EVA4400 storage.
My EVA has the second failed controller.
To save money I bought a refurbished controller so I do not know the release of firmware and its configuration.
To replace the controller as long as I follow the guidance Controller Enclosure 4Gb Array Controller Replacement Instructions?
Thank you
regards

SolutionLike any other spare controller the part has a certain firmware level, but no configuration data. Just replace the controller while system is up.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
