EVA6500 Firmware Upgrade
I have EVA 6500 with XCS ver 10000000 and Command View Ver 9.4.
I upgrade management software ( Command View on Management Module ) from 9.4 to 10, then from 10 to 10.2 and final from 10.2 to 10.3
After Command view upgrade i upgrade EVA firmware from 1000000 to 11200000.
After firmware upgrade in Command View i can see hosts/ virtual disk but i can't see disk group / Hardware view After that i upgrade managment software to 10.3.3 - same issue
I try installing Command View on Windows Host but i have the same issue..
All the systems connected to EVA works OK.
In logs i have this errors
15-Apr-2016 23:32:41 M: mgmtmod Error building Hardware view. Not a Supported Version No 14010
15-Apr-2016 23:32:41 M: mgmtmod Error building Disk Group view. Not a Supported Version No 14010
Any idea???

Re: EVA6500 Firmware Upgrade
Do you have CV server based too or only the management module?
The latest versions i know is 10.3.7 for commandview and 11300000 for EVA.
I would uninstall CV from server, reboot, install new version and update management module and eva and disks (!) after this.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EVA6500 Firmware Upgrade
Did you clear the browser cache and even the flash cache (from flash icon in control panel)?
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Same message again?
This is the management module (mgmtmod).
What firmware version is shown for the module?
Should be version 0002.3000.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

>> On the management module shows mmp-0002.000-CR0BA8
IMHO this means Command View 10.0
This version can support EVA XCS version up to 10001000.
So you need to update the module firmware.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
